Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

Welcome to VetBlood ("Service", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of vetblood.io and the associated analysis application. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

VetBlood provides AI-generated interpretation of veterinary blood and urine test results for 12 species (Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Guinea Pig, Ferret, Rat, Mouse, Hamster, Horse, Goat, Sheep, Cattle). The Service processes data uploaded by you (including documents parsed via OCR) and delivers a structured report to your email within 2–5 minutes of payment.

The Service is an informational decision-support tool intended to help pet owners understand laboratory results and prepare for veterinary consultation. It is not a diagnostic service and does not replace a qualified veterinary professional.

2. Zero-Hallucination Commitment

Our AI uses ONLY the reference ranges printed on your laboratory report to determine whether a parameter is within or outside normal bounds. We do not invent, guess, or substitute reference ranges with values derived solely from the AI model's training data.

Where your lab did not print a reference range for a parameter, this is disclosed clearly in the report, and a conservative species-general interpretation is applied with explicit uncertainty flagging. The lab is the authority — not the model.

3. Disclaimer — Not Veterinary Medical Advice

THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE VETERINARY MEDICAL ADVICE. The interpretations generated are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or consultation. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for any concerns about your pet's health. Never disregard or delay seeking professional veterinary advice because of content received from this Service.

In emergencies (severe lethargy, difficulty breathing, seizures, suspected poisoning, critical laboratory values, collapse, suspected trauma): contact your veterinarian or emergency veterinary clinic immediately. Do not rely on the Service for time-critical decisions.

4. Your Responsibilities — Input Accuracy

Input accuracy is your responsibility. The Service performs OCR extraction, but you are the final check on accuracy. You must review and confirm every extracted value, unit, and reference range before submitting for analysis. The Service analyzes only the data you explicitly approve. We do not cross-check OCR output against the original source document. Reports based on mistakenly approved values will reflect that mistaken input — this is not grounds for a refund under medical-accuracy grounds (the 14-day money-back guarantee remains applicable for general dissatisfaction).

5. Payments and 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Payment is processed via Stripe. We do not store or view your card details. Prices shown are per single analysis or per pack of codes and are displayed in USD (local currency conversions are handled automatically by Stripe).

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your report for any reason, contact us at vetblood@vetblood.io within 14 days of purchase with your analysis reference. We will issue a full refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. No questions asked.

Pack codes remain valid within the pack's stated validity period (3–24 months depending on the pack). Unused codes past the validity period are non-refundable. Individual codes already redeemed within a pack are subject to the same 14-day money-back guarantee per redemption.

6. Data Handling and Deletion

Your analysis input (form data, OCR text) is stored temporarily in encrypted session storage for the duration of processing — maximum 2 hours after payment. The generated report is stored in temporary cloud storage and auto-deleted within approximately 1 hour of creation. A copy is delivered to your email as an attachment — it is yours to keep, permanently.

You can also delete the report immediately after download using the deletion link provided. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling, retention, and your GDPR rights (including the right to erasure, data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority).

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the AI models, report templates, user interface, and associated technology, is the exclusive property of VetBlood. You retain full rights to your input data and to the generated report delivered to you — you may share, print, or forward it to your veterinarian without restriction.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VetBlood, its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, loss of data, or harm to any animal — resulting from use of or inability to use the Service, reliance on any content generated, or any other matter relating to the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific analysis in question. You acknowledge that AI-generated interpretation may contain errors and that the final clinical decision rests with a licensed veterinarian.

9. Prohibited Uses

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Poland, except where consumer protection law grants you additional rights in your country of residence (as is standard within EU/EEA and under UK consumer law).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
