The report is designed to make your vet appointment more productive: you arrive informed, with specific questions and a differential diagnosis to discuss.
VetBlood uses OCR (optical character recognition) to read the reference ranges directly from your lab report document. Most laboratory reports print the reference range alongside each result — VetBlood extracts those values and uses them as the sole authoritative source for determining whether a parameter is in or out of norm. The AI does not invent, guess, or substitute reference ranges with values derived from its training data. You review the extracted data before submitting, so you remain in full control. If your lab didn't print a range for a parameter, this is flagged transparently in your report and a conservative species-general interpretation is applied with explicit uncertainty notes.
Typically 2–5 minutes from the moment you submit the form and complete payment. The exact time depends on the number of parameters in the blood panel. A comprehensive panel with 40+ parameters may take closer to 5 minutes; a basic panel is usually under 2 minutes.
Your data is processed securely and temporarily. The analysis input is stored in encrypted form only for the duration of processing (maximum 70 minutes), then permanently deleted. The report is automatically generated in the language of your browser. If your browser is set to French, the report will be in French; if set to German — in German. VetBlood supports all major European languages. No manual selection is required.
